We follow a continuous release, so we automatically release a new version as soon as we commit code internally.

Running the installer should set up a local jipr command that you can run from the command line. You DON'T need root access to install jipr.

You can run jipr upgrade command to automatically upgrade. Given that we're constantly updating out tools, you're probably going to need to do this a lot.
